Hopefully you were able to attend the J. Dell and C. White artist talk/reception on Sunday. If not, their exhibit at the Georgetown Art Center ends on 1/24, so there’s still time to see it.

So, PrintAustin is upon us. We have 80 or so events and it’s not going to be easy to choose when there are conflicts. Our plan of action is to do as much as possible, even if we need to spend some time at one show and hop in the car and head out to another. One example is tonight. There’t the UT Landmarks screening and the Kathryn Polk exhibit–two must sees. Luckily doable from a time perspective.

January 15
Landmarks, the public art program at UT, will host printmaker, filmmaker, and musician, Jay Bolotin. A reception will follow a performance and screening of his animated film made from 40 woodcuts.
Bolotin won Best Animation at the 2007 Santa Fe Film Festival for his woodcut motion picture “The Jackleg Testament Part I: The Story of Jack & Eve.” The film is featured in the Landmarks Video 2014-15 season.
Time: screening from 5:30-6:30 pm followed by Q&A and reception
Location: The Off Center, 2211-A Hidalgo

Kathryn Polk: In Her Place
Reception: 6-8 pm
Open through February 14
