Parent & Child (ages 6-11 with adult)
Create with mom, dad, grandparent, or guardian to make a small edition of prints to share as Valentine cards. We’ll sketch then scratch our designs into styrofoam printing plates. Print a small series of prints to paste onto your cards. This project can also be extended into reductive printmaking with cutout parts and second color printing.

All supplies provided! Bring a healthy snack for break time. Dress for mess. No early drop-off or late pick-up. Children are under parental supervision and responsibility on the Museum’s grounds before, between, and after classes.

About the Organizer/Venue
The Art School is located on the fourteen-acre Lake Austin site of historic Laguna Gloria, a natural setting conducive to the creation of art. Our studios have direct access to the outdoors, and we encourage you to explore the grounds while working on class projects. Our goal is to foster your creativity, enhance your visual awareness, and improve your technical skills in your chosen medium.
