Event Description

Gold Tape is an exhibition of work made by current UT students. Each artists work offers a fresh approach to the traditions of printed material. Plants, textiles, sculptures and a “Zine screen” stand as testaments to the students’ willingness to challenge the medium and materials.

Gold Tape opens Friday, January 26th, 2018 with an opening reception being hosted from  6:00 – 8:30 pm. This exhibition is offered in addition to other exhibits in the mezzanine at the VAC (Visual Arts Center), on the University of Texas campus located directly across Trinity Street from the Doty Fine Arts Building.

Gold Tape is hosted and was curated by the Longhorn Printmakers Student Organization.
